3 Days in Montevideo: Culture, Views, and Great Food

In April 2025 we spent 3 days in Montevideo, exploring the charming Ciudad Vieja, admiring the iconic Palacio Salvo and Cathedral, walking along the scenic Rambla, and taking in panoramic views from the Mirador de la Intendencia. We visited the historic Estadio Centenario, the vibrant Mercado del Puerto, and the elegant Teatro Solís, as well as the Gurvich Museum for a taste of local art. We also embraced local culture by sharing a traditional mate. The trip was enriched by delicious meals at Bar Facal and El Fogón.
