A Weekend in Paris: February 2020

In February 2020, we spent an unforgettable weekend in the City of Lights, immersing ourselves in the timeless beauty and charm of Paris. We began by visiting the iconic Eiffel Tower, where the panoramic views of the city left us in awe. From there, we strolled down the elegant Champs-Élysées, stopping to admire the towering Arc de Triomphe, which stood as a symbol of French pride and history.

We continued our adventure with a visit to the enchanting Sacré-Cœur Basilica, perched atop Montmartre, where the bohemian atmosphere and stunning cityscape views captured the essence of Parisian romance. We also paid homage to the stunning Notre Dame Cathedral, appreciating its Gothic grandeur despite the ongoing restoration work.

One of the highlights of the weekend was dedicating an entire day to exploring the world-renowned Louvre Museum. From da Vinci’s Mona Lisa to the majestic Winged Victory of Samothrace, the museum’s treasures left us speechless. Every gallery was a journey through art history.

To top off the trip, we indulged in an evening of vibrant entertainment by attending an authentic Parisian burlesque show, full of flair, glamour, and a dash of mischief—a perfect way to experience the lively side of Parisian nightlife.
