Exploring the Balkans: Our Adventure in August 2021

In August 2021, we embarked on a remarkable journey through Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. We began our trip in Zagreb, Croatia's vibrant capital, where we explored its charming streets, markets, and historic landmarks.
Next, we headed to Ljubljana, the picturesque capital of Slovenia, before venturing to the awe-inspiring Postojna Caves, a stunning underground world of stalactites and stalagmites.
Returning to Croatia, we visited the coastal city of Zadar, known for its unique Sea Organ and beautiful sunsets, followed by the UNESCO-listed towns of Trogir and Split, where we marveled at Diocletian’s Palace and the Adriatic coast.
We then crossed into Bosnia and Herzegovina to explore the historic town of Mostar, with its iconic Stari Most bridge, before heading further south to the magnificent Dubrovnik, Croatia’s "Pearl of the Adriatic."
Our journey continued to Kotor in Montenegro, a beautiful coastal town nestled in a fjord-like bay, where we enjoyed its medieval architecture and breathtaking views. Finally, we visited the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park, with its cascading waterfalls and turquoise lakes, wrapping up our unforgettable adventure through the Balkans.
