In August 2024, we embarked on an incredible journey through Albania, discovering its vibrant cities and breathtaking natural landscapes. Our trip began in the bustling capital of Tirana, where we explored Skanderbeg Square, the colorful Blloku district, and visited Bunk'Art, a fascinating museum set in a Cold War-era bunker, providing a unique insight into Albania's recent history.

From Tirana, we ventured into the stunning Theth and the Albanian Alps, where we hiked through majestic mountains, visited the charming Theth village, and marveled at the natural beauty of the Grunas Waterfall and the Blue Eye of Theth.

We then traveled to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Berat, known as the 'City of a Thousand Windows', where we explored its well-preserved Ottoman architecture, the historic Berat Castle, and the beautiful Osum River.

Our journey continued to the coastal city of Vlore, where we enjoyed the stunning beaches of the Albanian Riviera and the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea. From Vlore, we made our way to Saranda, a vibrant seaside town offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.

While in Saranda, we took a day trip to the Greek island of Corfu, where we explored its charming old town, the stunning Palaiokastritsa area, and enjoyed the unique blend of Greek and Venetian culture.

This journey through Albania and a brief visit to Greece offered a perfect mix of history, culture, and natural beauty, providing unforgettable experiences at every stop. From the vibrant streets of Tirana to the serene landscapes of the Albanian Alps, and the stunning coastline of the Ionian Sea, this trip was truly a memorable adventure.
